  4. Rowan Merino 4ply, we’ve also used Jaeger Baby Merino and Tess Dawson Merino 4ply from angelyarns - obviously doesn’t have to be 4ply but pure wool gets a much better effect. I’ve dyed some superwash & that came out okay too.
