7 - Koolaid Knitting

Here’s one I dyed earlier!

Elizabeth Zimmermann’s Baby Surprise Jacket. Everyone should knit one it is so cool! Knitted in one peice and then folded to make a jacket, clever!

(and I know I said I wouldn’t cast on anything else but the Juno Regina is so boring ;) )

  3. urk, that’s a very odd shape. And a scary webpage - instructions to break yarn, and pick up stitches and all sorts! Have you ever been tempted to knit an adult surprise jacket then?

  5. That is so gorgeous. I knitted one like that for a friend’s baby recently, I just loved it. And happy to be at the stage where it feels OK to knit for someone elses baby - took a long time to get THERE!

  6. so, do I have to buy one of her books to get the pattern, you can’t buy an electronic download anywhere? What needles do I need, how much yarn, and can an incompetent like me really do it?
